I didn't know other people put other ingredients with their scrambled eggs! My favorite is leftover turkey (my dad makes the moistest turkey), bacon, and cheese mixed with my scrambled eggs.

Aloha Erin and Zoe, Congratulations on surviving the first year. I've had lots of fun reading the blog, even if my entire repetoire (can't spell the word!) is limited to ramen and boiled eggs! Both of you deserve kudos for a no ka oe food blog. Love, Kawika

Another way to spice up a Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella Salad. Balsamic Vinegar. Slice your tomatoes, soft mozzarella and tear your basil leaves off of the plant and put them aside. In a bowl put some olive oil, then on top of that pour your vinegar, about 2 parts oil and one part vinegar. Starting with a tomato slice dip it in the o/v mixture and lay on a plate, then do the same with your mozzarella and start stacking with a slice of basil in between each stack. When you have used all of the cheese and tomatoes spoon the leftover o/v on top of the dish. Finish with salt and pepper. My husband actually ends up drinking the plate when he is done! lol
